Richard & Ruth’s Oakwell Hall photo shoot

Posted on February 28, 2010, 1:51 pm, by Philip.

Loved this pre wedding shoot with Richard and Ruth who were very comfortable in front of the camera and thouroghly enjoyed the time they spent being photographed. The location is Oakwell Hall which is also there wedding venue, this was the ideal time also to plan with them which parts of the house and gardens to use as back drops on the big day. We also use the time to disscus in detail the wedding day plans.

Robbie Paul – Northern Rail shoot

Posted on February 28, 2010, 11:53 am, by Philip.

Our first shoot with Robbie and Northern Rail took place in our studio. The brief was that the chosen photo was going to be used for a large advertising campaign poster on all the train station platforms, so it needed to be a strong portrait of him.

A couple of weeks later we were asked to photograph Robbie at Huddersfield train station as a continuation of his role as Northern Rail rugby ambassador.

Our “DA VINCI CODE” Wedding.

Posted on January 16, 2010, 7:36 pm, by Philip.

Pre Wedding Shoot

Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs Van Rol who were married at The Temple Church, Fleet Street, London, opposite The High Court where Kate spends her time as a barrister. We arrived the day prior to the wedding, & after negotiating central London, (with the sat nav trying to turn us into the Thames at every opportunity). We arrived at our digs at The Inner Temples lovely lodging rooms, complete with a very steep floor to walk up to go to the bathroom!   It was a maze of cobbled streets  & courtyards of Georgian buildings, complete with fire jugglers & street entertainers!

The Church was built by the Knights Templar, the order of crusading monks founded to protect pilgrims on their way to and from Jerusalem in the 12th century. The Church is in two parts: the Round and the Chancel. The Round Church was consecrated in 1185 by the patriarch of Jerusalem. It was designed to recall the holiest place in the Crusaders’ world: the circular Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem.

The Temple Church was used in the filming of the “DaVinci Code” with Tom Hanks!

Kate & her Bridesmaids prepared for the “Big Day” at the Inner Temple, with its grand rooms & beautiful Georgian-style banqueting hall, complete with silver trolley full of full fat luxury cakes, yum!!
